Our History
DentureTech's roots began in the 1980's when Chris Pine started a small laboratory from his home in Belmont Terrace, Milford. Chris soon gained a reputation for quality craftsmanship.
His developing business quickly outgrew his home laboratory and Chris, together with his wife and business partner, Vicki, purchased a property at 860 East Coast Road, Browns Bay approximately 35 years ago. Renovated to accommodate the needs of a dental laboratory, "East Coast Road" provided the stepping stone required for his developing business and became very well known throughout Auckland.
In August of 2003 DentureTech moved its main laboratory to its present location at 331 Rosedale Road, Albany.
With a purpose-designed interior this spacious and modern laboratory serves its purpose exceptionally well. Privacy and professionalism were utmost in their minds when Chris and Vicki Pine created their laboratory environment. Their main goal was to ensure patients feel comfortable and assured they are dealing with a truly professional team.

Chris Pine
Managing Director, Denturetech
Chris Pine is the Managing Director and Head Clinician at DentureTech. With decades of experience in the dental industry, Chris is one of a select group of clinicians in New Zealand to hold an Implant Scope of Practice.
Christina Richter
Clinical Dental Technician, DentureTech
Christina is DentureTech’s longest-serving team member and Head Clinician at the Millwater clinic. With a Clinical Dental Technology degree from Otago, she brings expert technical skills and attention to detail to complex cases
Soohyeon Uhm

Soohyeon Uhm—known as Soo to colleagues and patients—is a highly skilled Clinical Dental Technician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Payment Terms
DentureTech are able to offer you a range of payment options so you can wear your extraordinary dentures with a stress free smile.
Terms of Trade
Once a quote and treatment plan have been decided on, we require half of the total treatment cost as a deposit, then the balance is payable on completion.
For your convenience the following payment options are available at all DentureTech locations.
Option 1
EFTPOS, PayWave, Cash and Credit Cards: MasterCard, Visa, Farmers Finance, Q-Card.
Please note: there is a 1.5% bank fee applied to all PayWave and credit card transactions.
As of 31st May 2021 we will no longer be able to accept cheques as payment.
Option 2
DentureTech offer an 'adaptive payment plan' where the cost of your total treatment is spread over the duration of the fabrication of your new dentures. Contact us today to find out more.
DentureTech are Easy-claim providers with Southern Cross Health Care Society. So, if you are a member of Southern Cross then contact us today as your Southern Cross Health Insurance policy may assist with the cost of your dentures.
